On Thursday, November 10, 2016 at approximately 3:30 pm acting on information received, Officers from the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, Rensselaer City Police Department and Special Agents from the Federal Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Agency executed a narcotics search warrant at the residence of William Spalding and Jennifer Marner located at 311 S. Van Rensselaer Street in Rensselaer, Indiana.

 

The search yielded contraband in the form of precursors used in the process of manufacturing Methamphetamine, Methamphetamine product, a loaded .380 caliber pistol and various ammunition, paraphernalia used to ingest methamphetamine and the inner components of a methamphetamine lab located in the trash.  

 

Assistance was also obtained from the Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Unit to process the scene.

 

William D. Spaulding age 43 was taken into custody at his place of employment in Remington Indiana by Officers of the ATF, Jasper County Sheriff’s Office and the Remington Police Department. Spaulding is being held at the Jasper County Detention Center on initial charges of Possession of Precursors a level 6 felony, Possession of Methamphetamine a level 6 felony, Dealing in Methamphetamine a level 4 felony and Possession of a Firearm by Serious Violent felon a level 4 felony.

 

 

 

Jennifer L. Marner age 36 was taken into custody at the residence on initial charges of Possession of Precursors level 6 felony, Possession of Methamphetamine level 6 felony and Dealing in Methamphetamine a level 4 felony and is being held at the Jasper County Detention Center.

 

William D. Spaulding and Jennifer L. Marner are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
